About Us

Teen Ranch is a family run business in Port Edward, on the Lower South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, that has been an affordable youth accommodation for school and even corporate groups for over 40 years providing both fully catered and self-catered accommodation. Teen Ranch is situated on our 47HA macadamia farm 12kms from Port Edward, Teen Ranch has hosted many youth groups, churches, schools and families since it was established in the 1970s by Jill and Harry Bowman.
After buying Teen Ranch from Jill and Harry, Fred and Mary Marshall-Smith took over and have successfully run Teen Ranch for the last 30 years. Teen Ranch has been providing many groups with an outdoor adventure centre, affordable youth accommodation, team building facilities, warm hospitality with our fully catered or self-catered youth accommodation, great food, lots of fun and many happy memories.

Fred and Mary retired in May 2015 and in keeping the business very much in the family have handed Teen Ranch over to myself (Sarah) and my husband Paul. We hope to carry on the family business with the same warm and friendly hospitality and affordable youth accommodation that has carried it since it was established over 40 years ago. We at Teen Ranch pray that all who visit and stay with us will continue to take away fun, exciting and memorable times.
